Eukaryotic biological motions across scales and orders of magnitude involve cytoskeleton elements. Due to their importance in cell division, motility and muscle contraction, mutations in the cytoskeleton are frequently associated with human pathology. Our lab focuses on understanding how cytoskeleton assemblies are coordinated during physiological and disease conditions, using a combination of biophysical, cell biological and imaging methods.
Keywords: Cytoskeleton / microtubule post-translation modifications / motor proteins / acto-myosin / sarcomere assembly
