Our aim is to understand how protein function is tailored to the cellular environment. We develop a novel framework for biomolecular recognition and study heterogeneous, fuzzy protein interactions as a readout mechanism of the cellular context. We aim to decipher the sequence codes of protein higher-order assembly and a variety of phase transitions. We also explore novel therapeutic opportunities related to manipulating the context-specific response.
