The main goal of our research is to elucidate the molecular mechanisms and biological processes underlying cancer initiation and progression. In particular, we are studying the tumor suppressor p53, as well as the Hippo tumor suppressor pathway and the involvement of histone H2B ubiquitination in cancer. Our research involves a combination of tissue culture-based assays, mouse models, and analysis of human tumor-derived materials.
