We have contributed to the worldwide effort of schistosomiasis immune-epidemiology and in the last years we have focused on the geographical and environmental impact on the disease outcomes and vaccine efficacy. At the community and public health levels, we have conducted epidemiological studies of HIV/SITs and COVID-19, implemented blood banks and set up an HLA typing platform for organ transplantations in Senegal.
