Computational genomics & gene regulation

We are interested in the computational, genome-scale analysis of gene regulation regulation and evolution. Questions we ask include: (i) How is gene expression regulated; (ii) How do these mechanisms control interesting biological behaviours; and (iii) How does gene regulation affect evolution? Most of our work depends on publically available data, but we also collaborate closely with a few experimental laboratories.
