Cancer development within an individual is an evolutionary process. This has important clinical implications for cancer prevention and therapy, as well as our understanding of cancer progression and metastatic spread. My lab is entirely computational, and we develop and use novel tools and analysis methods to explore cancer evolution. We exploit publicly available sequencing data as well as data from collaborators.
