My group employs mouse models and organoid technologies to identify and characterise stem cell populations and their local niches responsible for tissue maintenance, repair and cancer initiation/progression. This research is expected to accelerate efforts to safely exploit adult stem cells for regenerative medicine applications and deliver more effective cancer therapies in the clinic.
