We study how cells establish their particular morphology and internal organization to perform their functions. We take a multidisciplinary approach and combine the development of disruptive methods and the use of various organisms to identify general biological and physical principles of morphogenesis. Current topics of interest in the team include: cell growth, division, cytoskeleton and cytoplasm regulation as well as embryonic development.
