Development and plasticity of the nervous system
My lab's main interest is understanding the developmental programs that generate the astounding diversity of cell types in a nervous system. We study this problem using nematodes as a model system. We are also interested in neuronal circuit formation during development and how nervous system development differs between the two sexes of the worm.
