Replicative stress as a driver of cancer and aging

My research focuses on exploring the mechanisms that protect cells from replicative stress, and trying to exploit that information to develop strategies that can be used to treat cancer or to delay aging-associated pathologies. Our research is split into a wide range of approaches that include mouse models, cell biology, genome-wide genetic screens and drug development.
