My research is aimed at understanding the role of plant hormones in plant developmental plasticity. We are investigating the hormonal control of shoot branching in Arabidopsis in order to understand better how plant hormones integrate systemic and local information to regulate body plan. We aim to link molecular level understanding of hormone transport and signalling network properties with their adaptive significance in the whole plant.
