EMBO Member

EMBO 1966 | Council 87–90
Since 2007 I am Professor Emeritus of Molecular Genetics at Sapienza. In March 2015 I retired from the 8-years position as President of the Italian Institut Pasteur. Since then I have maintained interactions with colleagues and studied some subjects of my interest, like the confrontation of the evolutionary development of male and female primate's brains. I have served EMBO as member of the council, and I believe I am one of the oldest members of EMBO having been elected in 1966.
