Physics and dynamics of membranes applied to cells
I use concepts from soft matter physics to investigate a variety of cell membrane functions such as cellular trafficking, adhesion, transmembrane transport of ions or protein diffusion. With my group, we develop a multidisciplinary approach, largely based on biomimetic systems and on quantitative mechanical and microscopy methods. In addition, we study in vitro and in cellulo the mechanics and the generation of cellular protrusions.
