My work seeks to understand mammalian genome biology and improve human health by using data driven comparative methods. We helped to pioneer the techniques of comparative regulatory genomics to investigate the evolution of transcriptional regulation. We develop computational tools and data resources for the wider scientific community to enable scientific discovery, facilitate reproducible science, and uncover precise causes of disease.
