Kinases and cancer signalling
How do signalling systems operate in cancer-associated phenotypes? What are the spatial and temporal constraints operating to influence their behaviour? Can we exploit our developing molecular knowledge of these systems to develop interventions and predictive/pharmacodynamic biomarkers in cancer? Particular interests are around the protein kinase field centred upon the PKC superfamily.
