The research in my team focuses for the major part on how gene expression can be regulated by small RNA molecules that act in RNA interference-related pathways. This extends from studying their effects on development to how they control genome stability by controlling transposable elements. A theme that currently receives extra attention is the epigenetic control of gene expression across generations.
