BRAF and RAS signalling in melanoma.

We study the molecular mechanisms underlying melanomagenesis, with particular emphasis on the role of the RAS/RAF/MEK/ERK pathway. We employ biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, structural biology, transgenic models and genetics. A key aim is to translate our basic findings into clinical practice.
