Role of inflammation in cancer and diabetes
My laboratory studies molecular mechanisms that mediate the effects of stress on biological functions. A focus of our analysis is the role of the cJun NH2-terminal kinase (JNK) signaling pathway in the inflammatory response during the development of cancer and diabetes.
