My group is presently interested in understanding basic mechanisms of important steps in vesicular transport at the molecular and atomic level. We use structural, spectrosopic and kinetic methods combined with protein engineering techniques such as the application of semisynthetic proteins. Other diverse chemical biological approaches are also used.
