Our lab studies cellular dynamics and mechanics in physiology and aging with a focus on cellular responses to stress. Our research aims to understand the dynamic remodeling of genetic and non-genetic components of cells and tissues under acute or chronic stress, and how these changes lead to adaptive behaviors beneficial or ultimately detrimental to the fitness of the organism.
