My group is dedicated to the identification and functional characterization of key genes and pathways implicated in Frontotemporal Lobar Degeneration and related neurodegenerative diseases. We have been at the forefront of genomic discoveries in this area through our leading role in international genomics consortia. Ultimately, we aim to further our understanding of these diseases, to develop biomarkers and to provide new targets for therapy.
