Biology of Inflammation
My lab is studying the fundamental aspects of inflammation in physiological and pathological contexts. We are particularly interested in the role of inflammation in diseases of homeostasis. We are also studying the role of macrophages in various physiological processes. Finally, we are investigating the basic biology of allergic responses and their role in host defense.
