Our research centers on ALK and its role in normal and pathological developmental processes. We study ALK signaling and its functional impact during tumor growth and development, with focus on ALK in neuroblastoma (NB). We use Drosophila to map ALK signaling during embryogenesis, where ALK function is critical. We also study human ALK employing NB cell lines, mouse models and NB patient samples, with focus on the newly identified FAM150 ALK ligands.
