We aim to elucidate the K-Ras oncogenic signaling network on the conformational and cellular levels. Both are vital for in-depth mechanistic functional understanding and for guiding combinatorial anticancer small molecule drug selection. We believe that signaling strength determines cell fate. Strong signals are associated with cell proliferation. Moderate strength in embryonic neural cells may be associated with neurodevelopmental pathologies.
