We inverstigate the molecular mechanisms controlling cell polarity and directed migration in normal cells to determine which molecular alterations can affect the cell invasive properties during oncogenesis. our research focuses on astrocytes, which are major brain glial cells and gliomas. We aim to elucidate the role of the cytoskeletal networks in cell mechanical properties and signaling pathways that promote cancer progression.
