Plant specialized metabolism
Our research focuses on plant metabolism and the biosynthesis of plant-derived natural products. We discover new enzymes that synthesize biologically active metabolites, study the localization and transport of these metabolites in plants, and develop metabolic engineering strategies for production of these valuable compounds.
