Our group studies the role of small RNAs in regulating gene expression via the RNA interference pathway, specifically focusing on small RNA biogenesis pathways and the ability of small RNAs to induce transcriptional gene silencing in the nucleus. We employ a combination of biochemical reconstitution and structural biology approaches to gain mechanistic insights into these processes at the molecular level.
