Understanding cellular reprogramming
My laboratory focuses on studying the molecular mechanisms by which somatic cells are reprogrammed into undifferentiated-state pluripotent stem cells during iPS cell generation. We are also trying to establish optimally safe and efficient technologies for iPS cell generation to realize applications to drug discovery or regenerative medicine.
