By studying chromatin plasticity in response to DNA damage, our main goal is to decipher how genome and epigenome maintenance are coordinated to preserve mammalian cell function and identity. We aim to identify the molecular players controlling histone dynamics, chromatin marks and higher-order structure following DNA damage. Reciprocally, we investigate how epigenome alterations impact genome stability in physio-pathological contexts.
