Origins and functions of mononuclear phagocytes
We investigate monocytes and macrophages in physiology and pathophysiology using conditional mutagenesis, in vivo cell imaging, and cell transfer strategies. Our focus is on the gut, lung, and brain, using small animal models to study the roles of specific cells in homeostasis and inflammation.
