A major focus for our research has been to elucidate the signalling pathways that establish anterior-posterior, dorsoventral and left-right pattern in the brain and eyes. Recently, we have started to study the development of circuitry in brain, utilising the outstanding imaging properties of the fish embryo. These neuroanatomical studies underpin research that aims to link genes to circuits to behaviour.
