We study seed molecular biology, focusing on the transcriptional regulation of key seed dormancy regulators. Seed dormancy is the ability of plants to delay germination despite favorable conditions. Our research has shown that seed dormancy is intricately controlled by Pol II elongation and a set of lncRNAs. Additionally, we have developed methods to assess transcriptional variability at the single-seed level.
