Lymphatic vascular development and disease
My research focuses on the mechanisms that regulate the growth and function of the lymphatic vasculature and its interplay with surrounding tissues. My lab has uncovered fundamental principles of lymphatic development and established models for studying lymphatic diseases. These efforts have led to the identification of key molecular regulators with relevance to human genetic disorders and potential as therapeutic targets.
