Self-organisation is a defining feature of living systems and entails complex interplay between multiple parameters across various spatio-temporal scales. Using early mammalian embryos as a model system, my laboratory aims to integrate genetics and mechanics across sub-cellular, cellular, tissue to organismal scales, to understand the self-organisation design principles of multi-cellular systems.
