I am interested in providing quantitative descriptions of complex molecular processes in multicellular organisms with the goal of understanding how they derive from general principles. My team works at the interface between physics and biology, often marrying theory and experiment. We develop physics-style measurement techniques in living systems and advanced data analysis methods that allow for stringent tests of simple models.
