Our lab investigates the design principles underlying the architecture of the microtubule cytoskeleton. Using in vitro reconstitutions and different types of microscopy, we aim to understand how global properties of dynamic microtubule assemblies emerge from the interplay of their molecular components. We are particularly interested in the reorganisations of the microtubule cytoskeleton taking place during cell division.
