Evolutionary hologenomics
We study biology using a hologenomic view, based on the the concept that we can only understand the genetic basis of life as the union of hosts and their microbiomes. Our team develops and applies integrative holo'omic approaches using modern as well as historic/ancient samples, in order to address both basic and applied research questions.
