We are interested in how chromatin structure is regulated to allow genes to be expressed correctly. A special interest is the action of ATP-dependent chromatin remodelling enzymes. We use both genomic and structural approaches to study their mechanism of action. Ongoing projects are aimed at understanding how human SWI/SNF complexes act in cancer.
