My lab focuses on developing tools for molecular analysis, including padlock probes and proximity ligation assays. The aim is to provide a basis for new high-throughput analyses in biology and medicine. Several of our tools have been licensed to leading biotech companies or formed the basis of companies spun out from our lab. We apply our tools ourselves in biomedical studies, analysing biomarkers, and characterising tissues and bio fluids.
