Small molecule signaling in bacteria
Bacteria use small signaling molecules to rapidly alter their behavior and physiological state in response to changing environments. We are interested in how these signaling molecules are produced and degraded, and how they contribute to cellular behavior in pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria.
