The general focus of my lab is on quantitatively dissecting processes inside the cell that are mediated by the activity of the cytoskeleton and associated proteins, using advanced light microscopy, image processing and genetic manipulation. Specifically, in the past couple of years we have been focused on investigating the intracellular nexus between the microtubule cytoskeleton, microtubule-associated proteins and the mitochondrial network.
