Our group is involved in deciphering molecular mechanisms and their aberrations that are responsible for the development of neoplastic disease. Specifically, we are interested in cell cycle deregulation and emergence of genomic instability in cancer. Since certain pathways/networks are involved both in neoplasia development as well as inflammation we are also working on inflammation and infectious agents in neoplastic and non-neoplastic disease.
Keywords: DNA damage response / DNA replication stress / DNA replication licensing factors / genomic instability / senescence / cancer
