My lab focusses on the generation of the various cell types and their interconnections in the developing vertebrate retina. We focus on the developing visual systems of lower vertebrates and break the problem down into discrete developmental events such as cell fate determination and axonal navigation. We use various molecular and imaging tools to dissect these events.
