My group investigates how signals from the cell surface are integrated into the nucleus to make a cell fate decision. This has led to the identification of the ASPP family of proteins as regulators of cell adhesion and transcription. Our recent discovery of a novel nuclear import pathway, RaDAR, enabled us to investigate ankyrin repeat signalling in human disease including cancer.
