Our lab studies how complex molecular systems evolve under strong and rapid selection, using venom and immune systems as model traits. We are particularly interested in the evolutionary forces that shape, diversify, and maintain these systems across biological scales, from molecules to ecological interactions. Our work combines molecular, evolutionary, and ecological approaches using cnidarians, particularly sea anemones, as model organisms.
