The research goal of my lab is to understand how ubiquitin signals are decoded and regulated to produce distinct cellular outcomes. We use a range of techniques, from structural and biochemical methods to genetic approaches in model organisms, to dissect ubiquitin signaling mechanisms in health and disease. We are particularly interested in addressing how T-lymphocyte activation and adaptive immune responses are modulated by the ubiquitin system.
