Ubiquitin signalling mechanisms
The research goal of my lab is to discover the fundamental principles of how the posttranslational modification of proteins with ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like modifiers (UBLs) mediates signal transduction essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis. We use a multidisciplinary approach to gain mechanistic and functional insights into how ubiquitin and UBL signals are written, decoded and regulated to produce distinct cellular outcomes.
