Our laboratory is currently focused on chromatin-level regulation of neural stem-progenitor cell fate, neuronal and glial maturation processes, and activity-dependent neuronal plasticity. Another important aspect of our research is to understand the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that govern the genesis of adult neural stem cells. We also aim to elucidate how these processes are related to neuro-developmental disorders.
