Our lab is interested in developing a kidney organoid model that exhibits higher pathophysiological relevance to the cognate organ. To reconstruct the close-to-native kidney tissue microenvironment, we are employing single-cell transcriptomics, gene editing tools, and stem cell technologies to generate and reassemble the missing cell types into the current kidney organoid model.
